DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to celebrate, honor and participate in the vibrant traditions of Somali storytelling, singing and dancing. This event will bring Faribault and Northfield communities together through interactive dance workshops led by the Somali Museum of Minnesota Dance Troupe, a performance by the Faribault Middle School Choir and a participatory sing-along of Somali songs. Interactive activities for all ages will include henna art and face painting, bilingual Somali storytelling, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and so much more.\n
