DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the library’s Bilingual Book Club! Join us on August 13th at 4:30 p.m. in the Pye Room on the second floor for a discussion of our book selection, Ghost by Jason Reynolds.\nGhost by Jason Reynolds is the book selection for the bilingual book club selection on August 13th. The novel follows Castle Cranshaw (Ghost) as he stumbles onto the middle school track team. Ghost will have to confront a coach who demands better of him and new teammates who aren’t easy to win over.\nThe purpose of this book club is to create a space for middle school-age readers to discuss a book in Spanish and English. However, Spanish and English speakers of all levels welcome\nThis program will be hosted in the Pye Room on the second floor. First, we’ll chat about the book in Spanish first before transitioning to English and Spanish discussions about the book. This program is recommended for ages 10–15. If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to nicholas.livingston@northfieldmn.gov.\n¡Te damos la bienvenida al Club de Lectura Bilingüe de la biblioteca!\nAcompáñanos en la Sala Pye, ubicada en el segundo piso de la biblioteca, para conversar sobre nuestra selección del mes: Ghost, de Jason Reynolds.\nLa novela sigue la historia de Castle Cranshaw, conocido como Ghost, quien inesperadamente se une al equipo de atletismo de su escuela secundaria.
