Mark Joseph was inspired and forever changed by witnessing the virtuosity of The King of Blues (BB King), shortly after he was gifted his first guitar in 1991, at the age of 10. The subsequent decades, 2000- plus live shows, five full-length albums and multiple EPs have permanently written Mark Joseph into the sonic history he was inspired by. Yet the blues was the common thread throughout for this Minnesota-born singer/songwriter and guitarist. 2020 finds Mark Joseph showing no signs of slowing down with the recent release of his new full-length album, The Musician and the Muse. The blues are front and center as Joseph explores both his expansive songwriting skills and his explosive ability to make the guitar sing, cry or even challenge fans to question what is possible with a pick and some strings. In collaboration with the prolific and accomplished LA-based producer Steve McCormick, this record is a true snapshot in time, building upon the blues of the past, yet carving out a place for Joseph that is uniquely his own. He is also a full-time member of The Big Wu, Momentary Lapse of Floyd and various other projects. Suggested $10 free-will donation.
