Known for his fire-breathin’, foot-stompin,’ rootsy rockin’ performances with his band The Bratlanders, this is a softer and more introspective side of alt-country fave Matt Arthur. Arthur learned to sing by listening to gospel records from Tennessee Ernie Ford and Johnny Cash, and as he explains, “That’s what I wanted to do when I grew up.” His solo album, On The Edge, At The Bottom, was released to stellar reviews and packed performances in Minneapolis and Northfield.
