West African Drum & Dance Workshop with Master Percussionist Ghana Mbaye

Ghana Mbaye, aka “Brother Ghana”, was born in Senegal and moved to the U.S. in 2000, bringing his passion for music with him. He has become a master percussionist and performs regularly with many groups. In this vibrant workshop, participants will learn about his culture and drums such as the djembe, dun dun, sangba and kenkeni and will have a fun, hands-on experience playing them.
