Popcorn Wagon 40th Anniversary Party

What would Northfield’s Bridge Square be without its iconic popcorn wagon? A true sign of summer weather, this 1918 wagon has graced the downtown greenspace since Vera Johansen brought it to town in 1979. June 13, its story gets celebrated. Join local historian Susan Hvistendahl and Johansen’s daughters Jeanine and Carol for stories, sing-alongs, and, of course, popcorn. Festivities begin at 6pm in Bridge Square. In case of rain, event moves inside the Northfield Historical Society.
