Theater: Sense and Sensibility
The Northfield High School Theater presents Kate Hamill’s Sense and Sensibility, an adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel. This show takes place during Regency-Era England and follows the story of the Dashwood sisters after their father dies unexpectedly and they receive none of his inheritance. This comedic and heartfelt story features a modern soundtrack and Regency-inspired dances, nosy neighbors and the joys and sorrows of first love. At its core, it tells the story of the unbreakable bond shared between sisters. Tickets: $10 adults, $7 students and seniors, available online at GoFan or at the NHS box office before performances. Directed by Kat Middeldorp.
