Good Times at the Gardens: Molly Brandt
Named Americana Artist of the Year at the 2023 and 2024 Midwest Country Music Awards – and nominated in many other categories – Molly Brandt is one of the most distinctive voices in the independent Twin Cities music scene. Since releasing her first singles in 2022, she’s performed in venues across the Midwest and beyond and at festivals including Blue Ox, Big Turn, Rochester Thaw, Boogiedown, and Boats & Bluegrass. Her song “Mr. Texas” appeared on Netflix’s hit series The Hunting Wives. On stage, she commands attention with her signature fashion, powerful, expressive vocals and down-to-earth, funny and fearless personality. Her three studio albums trace a bold stylistic arc: from the honky-tonk, countrypolitan and alt-rock of Surrender to the Night (2023) through the sprawling story-filled landscape of her genre-fluid sophomore effort American Saga (2024), to her latest Museum of Being (June 12, 2026). Brandt’s work has been praised by the Star Tribune, Racket MN, The Current, The Bluegrass Standard and Adventures in Americana. Venue opens 5pm. $5 cover at the door. Food and bar service available. Rain or shine. 16+ event.
