Film, Fun, Fundraiser Movie Night: The Post

A fundraiser for Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO). Social hour at 6pm, a special showing of The Post starts at 7:30pm. This newsroom drama follows Katharine Graham – the first female publisher of a major U.S. newspaper – as she and editor Ben Bradlee race to catch up with The New York Times in an unprecedented First Amendment fight to expose a massive cover-up of government secrets. PEO is a sisterhood of women who are passionate about celebrating, supporting and motivating women through education – proceeds go to PEO Chapter AR’s almost 30-year tradition of providing scholarships to Faribault’s female graduates pursuing post-secondary.
