In 2024 the Minnesota legislature passed the Extreme Risk Protection Order, a law that families can use if a family member is threatening gun violence or is suicidal.  Learn how this law can be used to provide protection by asking local law enforcement to remove guns from your home. How does the law work?  When is this law used?  When is the gun returned to the household?
