The Second Act Players Present: Jack Benny’s Not 39 Anymore

Edna’s plan was to retire in peace but the reality is that her husband, Norman, just can’t sit still. He’s sending out resumes, proposing business plans and chasing after every make-it-rich business scheme that comes along. His newest big idea is to be the John Wilkes Rockefeller of irregular socks – and just when he and his business partner are about to figure out the details, a new neighbor, Rosemary, arrives on the scene – and things just get crazier. First, Rosemary has information that inspires his next method for making a buck – suing the Rockhard Rower Company. Second, Rosemary is an old flame of Norman’s sending Edna into fits of jealousy. Finally, to add to the hilarity, Rosemary’s son, Raymond, is not only an ideal match for their daughter Marcie, the two young love birds are on opposite sides of the Rockhard Rower dispute.
