Coronavirus and Flu Solutions with Homeopathy

Homeopathy has a proven track record of being effective in treating the flu. In the Pandemic flu of 1918-1919 we witnessed 548,000 deaths in the U.S. A shocking difference was found in mortality rate of those who used only homeopathic remedy. When general mortality rate was 30 percent, those under homeopathic care were found to have a mortality rate of 1.05 percent.  –Dr. Dean W. A. Pearson of Philadelphia, PA

Homeopathic treatment is free of side effects and supports a healthy state of being when the “Law of Similars” – the basic tenet of homeopathy – is followed closely. It means once you find the most closely matching remedy to your symptoms, the chances of seeing a positive result are much higher. (Homeo=similar, pathos=suffering)

In the case of an epidemic, several homeopathic remedies are selected based on the symptoms, and this collection of remedies is called Genus Epidemicus (GE). GE can be given to the affected population group for that particular epidemic, for treatment as well as for prevention. This regimen can be applied in viral colds, coughs and flu symptoms. Potency (strength) and dosage needed may vary in individuals.

1. Protocol to help boost immune system before you experience symptoms:

Thymuline 9c is a remedy that has been found helpful for anyone with  lung problems or autoimmune diseases and for the elderly with weak immune systems. One popular protocol is three pellets twice a day for two days followed by three pellets once a week for five weeks.

Influenzinum 30c: I have found this remedy helpful for people who have chosen not to get the flu vaccine. One popular protocol homeopathic practitioners recommend is taking one dose, once a month throughout the flu season. When indicated, based on symptom similarity to flu symptoms a person is experiencing, Influenzinum may help reduce the severity of flu symptoms.

2. Possible remedies to select from when you experience symptoms:

Squilla: This is used for fever with coryza (runny nose/head cold) sneezing and watery eyes. Take three pellets, three times a day, for two days.

Eupatorium perfoliatum: This is used for acute body aches. Take three pellets, three times a day, for three to five doses. This will help with symptoms of profuse runny nose, deep aches or bone pains, thirst and chills.

Gelsemium: This can help with symptoms of fever with muscles aches and fatigue, including a feeling of dullness, dizziness and drowsiness. If the muscles aches are all over, the fever is accompanied by chills alternating with heat and person is not thirsty, then Gelsemium should help greatly.

BryoniaThis is used for a cough that is dry, hard, painful and which requires the sufferer to sit up at night. If the cough is worse eating and drinking, and taking a deep breath is difficult because of pain and because it excites the cough, and if the cough is accompanied by sharp pains in chest or at right scapula, and/or if the cough gets worse in a warm room, Bryonia is the selected remedy.

3. Instructions on how to dose the homeopathic remedy:

Put the dose of pellets under the tongue, and let the pellets dissolve. Repeat two to four times a day for two days. Do not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes before and after the dose. Stop either with 90 percent improvement or a maximum of five doses, whichever is first.

Note: These remedy suggestions are based on available data. To find a matching remedy, one needs a professional to assess their individual symptoms. For further assistance contact your homeopathic practitioner.
