Keepsake Cidery

keepsake-cideryKeepsake Cidery is a family farm cidery producing high-quality hard cider, using traditional methods, from 100% local apples. Located a few miles off Highway 3 south of Dundas, this cidery is truly a hidden gem. Open on weekends, the cidery features not only amazing cider, but also food, live music, farm animals and a gorgeous, upscale rustic setting.

There are all kinds of local fare to nibble or devour. Imagine if each of your neighbors raised and grew a different savory treat. They pack up the freshest of their cheese, vegetables and pastries to cart over to a cozy parlor every day. The cidery then lovingly combines all these local ingredients into scrumptious toasties (Keepsake’s version of an amped up grilled cheese), soups and more.

Owners Nate and Tracy are as passionate about using local ingredients and supporting local producers as they are about cider. Some of the local producers featured at Keepsake Cidery are bread from Brick Oven Bakery; cheese from CannonBelles, Singing Hills Dairy, Shepherd’s Way and Metz Hart-Land Creamery; meat from Jirik Family Farms and Ferndale Market and apples from other local orchards like Apple Creek Orchard, Fireside Orchard and Sogn Valley Orchard.

If you’ve never visited Keepsake Cidery, November is a great time to make your first visit, as the apples are freshly harvested and fresh cider is available in addition to the hard cider that is available year round
